Welcome to the Eudora Animal Hospital website!
As our website evolves, you will be able to find helpful information on a variety of animal health related topics in the News section.
Eudora Animal Hospital was founded in 1975 by Dr. Ron Lee. We are a mixed animal practice: treating dogs, cats, cattle and a few sheep, goats and llamas.
The practice has seen annual growth because of fair pricing, great customer service, and availability.
Eudora Animal Hospital would like to encourage you to come find out why so many in Northeast Kansas travel from Lawrence, Olathe, Tonganoxie, Linwood, Leavenworth, Topeka, Lee Summit, and Spring Hill to have our staff care for their family members.
George Schreiner DVM
Veterinarian / Owner
Kansas State University 1995
Dr. Schreiner grew up on a dairy farm outside of Sharon, Ks. He has worked with animals and found it rewarding since he was old enough to walk the cows into the milk barn. His strong work ethic can be attributed to his high school days when he would milk a shift, rush off to school, and then go to sports practice after so he could avoid milking two shifts a day at the farm. He is a Kansas State University graduate and loves to wear his classic EAH purple scrub top every day in support of his alma mater. His veterinary passions are cattle and small animal surgery. Dr. Schreiner spends most of his free time dividing and conquering his four kids’ activities with his wife, Gretchen
Matthew R. Kelso, DVM
Veterinarian
Originally from Eudora, Matthew grew up on a small farm raising polled Hereford cattle, llamas and rabbits. He was an active member of 4-H and remains involved to date. He had a strong background in livestock reproduction prior to obtaining his formal veterinary education. Matthew’s first round of employment at Eudora Animal Hospital started in the fall of 2008 when he was a kennel kid and he quickly fell in love with the profession.
Matthew’s professional interests include small ruminants and companion animal internal medicine – but enjoys working with all creatures, great and small. When not working, Matthew is a big K-State sports fan, a Sporting KC fan, and loves spending time with his dog, Dippy.
Amy Boucher
Office Manager
Amy has been at Eudora Animal Hospital since 2016. She loves animals and has been begging the doctors to gate off the front office for puppy playtime but so far all requests have been denied. She lives in Eudora with her husband Matt, her two couch hogging dogs, and hopes that every once in a while one of their human kids stops by for dinner.
Charles Holt
Veterinary Technician
Charles has been part of the Eudora Animal Hospital team for 18 years, which means he’s helped care for a lot of pets- and survived a fair number of suspicious cats along the way. He enjoys getting to know the animals and the people who love them, and he takes pride in being a part of a team dedicated to great veterinary care. At home, Charles and his wife Lindsay enjoy spending time with their kids (7 total), so he’s very familiar with a little chaos and a lot of noise. When he manages to sneak away, he enjoys traveling and going to concerts whenever possible.
Patty Sutton
Kennel Technician
I have worked at Eudora Animal Hospital for 14 years as a Kennel Technician. Besides working in the kennels you may see me helping as a receptionist or helping in the exam rooms. I love animals and really enjoy caring for them. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and my fiancee Wes who keeps me forever young! We like going to sporting events or just hanging out a home. I have 4 kids, 5 grandkids, 3 dogs and a cat, two of which were rescued through EAH.
Clayton Spring
Veterinary Technician
Clayton has been with Eudora Animal Hospital since 2020. He grew up in a farming family, so his favorite days are spent working cattle with the doctors. He enjoys hunting with his dog Cash Money and sometimes treats the clinic to his famous duck quesadillas- they’re delicious!
Deon Johnson
Office Managing Assistant
Meow! Deon has worked at Eudora Animal Hospital for 5 years now. Her favorite part about her job is getting to pet all the cats. Let’s be honest, this occupies 50% of her time. When Deon is not working she can be found running a Veterans organization, getting a new tattoo, rescuing ANOTHER cat, or spending time with her 3 kids and 3 grandkids.
